I know many people shy away from krauts and pickles because their Dr. said to watch the salt intake...i've always kinda rolled my eyes at the saltaphobes but you can't argue with doctors advice.
So how happy was I when the Center for Disease Control announced that salt is beautiful! Very happy indeed...so get out your forks and dig into some tasty kraut and realize that salt is ok, in fact essential to proper functioning of your body, especially when its high quality Himalayan salt like we use. Why not, our blood is salty as the sea, in fact has almost an identiacal salinity to the worlds oceans, perhaps we really did crawl out of the depths, or perhaps nature just knows a good ratio and repeats it when ever neccessary.
Either way, the truth is out there, so get your kraut on!
